About

Jane and Roger Eatherton founded Tabora Farm & Winery in 1989, naming it after Jane's childhood home in Cape Town. The Cape Dutch architecture of the building echoes that origin. Across 200+ acres, the program focuses on native and hybrid varieties alongside expanded vinifera plantings, all estate-grown. The winemaker works with minimal intervention in the cellar. Beyond the wines, a deli stocks fresh sandwiches, salads, quiches, and ready-to-eat items daily. A bakery turns out breads, cookies, pies, cakes, donuts, and pastries. Wine club members receive bi-annual shipments of six bottles at 20% off retail prices.
