Strohschneider has worked the vineyards around Obernalb since 1778, at the foot of the Manhartsberge in northern Weinviertel. Three generations of the family operate the winery. Roman Strohschneider leads the cellar with a philosophy of minimal intervention, both in the vineyard and at harvest. The winemakers, Roman, Alfred, Margit, Eva, and Hermi Strohschneider, produce Grüner Veltliner.
