About Stopfer
Martha and Franz Stopfer work organically-certified vineyards in Ravelsbach, the Weinviertel. Hand-harvested grapes become Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner, Weißburgunder, Muskat Ottonel, Sankt Laurent, Blauen Zweigelt, and Malvasier. The program includes sparkling wines made by Méthode Traditionelle, among them a Sekt Grüner Veltliner Reserve 2020 that won NÖ Gold. The AUREUM line, a Natural Wine series, ages long in wooden barrels. The 2018 AUREUM Roter Veltliner Reserve earned AWC Gold. The vineyard focuses on biodiversity promotion.
