Built into an old three car garage in Crozet, Stinson Vineyards sits in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, drawing from the Monticello AVA. Scott Stinson, Rachel Stinson Vrooman, and Nathan Vrooman, who joined in 2015, craft small lot, garagiste wines with a distinct French influence. The tasting room opens Thursday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm, with summer Thursdays extending to 9pm. Leashed dogs are welcome. The wine club releases three times yearly, Spring, Fall, and Holiday, with a one-time $40 joining fee and 20% member discount on all wines.
