Four generations deep in Podersdorf am See, Steiner tends 13 hectares across the region's best vineyard sites. Hand-harvested grapes each vintage split decisively, 70 percent into white wine and 30 percent red. A quarter of the whites turn sweet. Tastings are free by appointment. Direct sales run Monday through Saturday, 9 to 11.30 in the morning and 4 to 7 in the evening, with Sunday and holiday hours from 9 to 11.30. Orders of 12 bottles or more ship free within Austria, 24 or more to Germany.
