Niles Rasmussen, a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate, established Kent Rasmussen Winery in 2009, though vines first went in the ground here in 1995. The program focuses on small batch handcrafted wines, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah among them. Bottles are available only direct from the winery. Open Saturday and Sunday, 11 to 5, with no tasting fee.
