Spout Spring Estates Winery and Vineyard, LLC

Chuck Belt founded Spout Spring Estates in July 2015 alongside Alice Belt, who manages the vineyard. His interest in wine began in 1974 with California's emergence as a wine region, deepened by visits to Napa in 1976 and 1996. Alice is a retired professional engineer who worked at DOE facilities in Oak Ridge. The program produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sangiovese, Stuben, and Muscadine, with Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc in development. The house also incorporates Blueberries, Blackberries, and Japanese Wineberries into its selections. You can pick grapes, tour the vineyard and winery, picnic on the grounds, and bring children and dogs. A wine club offers members-only vineyard tours, tastings, and winemaking classes. The mission is to redefine Tennessee winemaking and grow the state's highest quality vinifera grapes.
