Founded in 1974 and opened to the public in 1983, Sonoita Vineyards holds the distinction of being Arizona's oldest commercial vineyard and winery. The operation spans over 30 acres in the Sonoita AVA, perched at 5,000 feet elevation in Elgin. The tasting room opens daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Tuesdays and major holidays. The property welcomes RV, van, and tent campers for stays of up to three nights.
