About Soaring Wings
Soaring Wings opened in 2001 in Springfield, Nebraska, thirty miles from downtown Omaha and a fifteen-minute drive from many of its suburbs. The winery produces dry reds, semi-sweet whites, fortified reds, dry whites, semi-dry rosés, and semi-sweet varieties. Jim and Sharon Shaw owned the winery for twenty years before Pat Ackerman took ownership. The space includes outdoor seating, live music, and food and beverages, and hosts private events.
