About Sinor-Lavallee
Mike Sinor began his winemaking journey in 1993, long before founding Sinor-Lavallee in 1997 with Cheri LaVallee, whom he married in Burgundy in 1996. For their first fifteen years, the program drew from specific rows in Talley-Rinon and Aubaine vineyards. From 2013 to 2023, they produced exclusively from their Estate and Bassi Vineyard near Avila Beach, 1.2 miles from the Pacific Ocean. In 2024, they sold Bassi to Mikey and Gina Giugni and shifted focus to the SLO Coast AVA. The tasting room in Avila Beach welcomes walk-ins daily from noon to six.
