Siltstone Wines

About

The Myers family has farmed grapes in Carlton since Joel planted the first vines in the 1960s. Professional production began in 1980, and Siltstone Wines was founded in 2000. Today Joel, Louise, Joey, and David Myers craft about 1,000 cases annually from their sustainably farmed vineyards, Blacktail and Owl Ranch. The portfolio spans Pinot noir, Pinot gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, and Rosé, with J. Myers & Sons Pinot noir as a limited premium expression. The tasting room in Dayton opens Saturdays and Sundays, noon to five, March through November. Tasting fee is fifteen dollars, waived with any purchase or Wine Club membership. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the patio and inside if other customers are comfortable.
