Hundred Suns Wine, in McMinnville, Oregon, takes its name from the roughly 100 days between flowering and harvest. The program sources fruit from growers with a history in the valley and an ideology aimed at quality in the vineyard. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay Noir, and Pinot Meunier move through fermentation with indigenous yeast and native malolactic bacteria, no unnatural additives. The house offers two club tiers. The 6 Bottle Club ships twice yearly, 6 bottles per shipment, at an average of $250-350 per shipment. The 12 Bottle Club ships twice yearly, 12 bottles per shipment, at an average of $500-700 per shipment. Club members receive guaranteed allocation of limited wines, including single vineyard designates and small production wines.
