About Schwaighofer Severinhof
Schwaighofer Severinhof opened in May 2006 in Mautern an der Donau, in the Wachau. The cellar works across the region's three quality tiers, Steinfeder, Federspiel, and Smaragd, producing Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, and Chardonnay alongside Zweigelt, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. The program also includes dry and off-dry Hauersekt sparkling wine and Marillenwein, an apricot wine. A sunny terrace overlooks Göttweig and Krems. Inside, a grape-shaped chandelier made from wine bottles is featured. Wine tastings and cellar tours are available by appointment. The space accommodates up to 100 guests for events and includes a children's playground.
