About

Founded in 1940 by Anna and Josef Schmid, the estate spans 18 hectares in Gobelsburg, in the Kamptal. Compost made in-house replaces synthetic fertilizers. The portfolio moves across Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gelber Muskateller, Pinot Blanc, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Certified Sustainable Austria since 2021. Farm-gate sales and vineyard tours are available by advance arrangement.
