Reithmaier

Reithmaier works across the white and red varietals of Kamptal, from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling to Zweigelt, Sankt Laurent, and Pinot Noir. The Ried Spiegel Grüner Veltliner emerges from extremely calcareous soil with a massive loess layer. Alte Reben Ried Spiegel vines, planted in 1969 by grandfather Leopold, anchor the program. Cavallo Riesling grows on sandy gravel near the cellar, planted in 1999. The Cavallo Zweigelt sees maximum eight days on the skins. A Sparkling Rosé Brut rounds the portfolio, built from Zweigelt and Pinot Noir. The house also produces Cavallo Veltliner, Cavallo Rosé, Gobelsburg Grüner Veltliner, Blauer Zweigelt Reserve, and Sankt Laurent Kalk & Lehm.
