Sax has been rooted in Langenlois since 1660, working vineyards in and around Lengenfeld in a region with distinctive climate and soil that yield fruit-intensive wines. The house produces Grüner Veltliner and Riesling alongside Rosé and Rot, drawing from a landscape where small operations once averaged 1.5 hectares each. Langenlois itself stands as Austria's largest wine-producing city.
