About Saouliak
Saouliak's lineage traces to 1600 in Nothalten, in Alsace. Emmanuel Saouliak returned to the family domain in 2006 after fourteen years working in Germany, renaming it Domaine des 7 Vignes. The vineyard sits slightly more than seven hectares at 220 meters altitude at the foot of Ungersberg mountain. The program produces seven Alsatian varietals, Sylvaner through Pinot Noir. Harvest here runs deliberately late, delayed three to four weeks beyond the official opening date to achieve optimal aromatic maturity.
