About Domaine G. Metz
Marcellin Metz founded the domaine in Itterswiller in 1930. From 1936, viticulture became the main focus. His sons Gérard and René inherited the operation, which began bottling and selling wines in 1966. Today the domaine spans 18 hectares across the slopes of Itterswiller, Epfig, Nothalten, Heiligenstein, and Mittelbergheim. The cellar employs products used in organic farming for foliar treatments, tending vineyards that produce Riesling and the Grand Cru designations Muenchberg and Zotzenberg.
