About
Founded in 1917, San Antonio Winery is Los Angeles' original urban winery. It survived Prohibition and the Great Depression to become one of the most awarded wineries in California. Declared a historic landmark in 1964, the winery at 737 Lamar Street offers guided tours daily, thirty minutes each. Weekday tours run at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Weekends expand to 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. Each tour includes a guided tasting of four award-winning estate wines from Paso Robles and Monterey. The property houses Maddalena Restaurant and The 1917 Wine Bar & Bistro. Members of the Artisan Premier Club gain access to limited production wines and exclusive discounts. Additional locations operate in Ontario, Paso Robles, and at the Riboli Family Winemaking & Events Center.
