About
Rotes Mäuerl sits among vineyards and forest in Gumpoldskirchen, in Austria's Thermenregion. The winery was founded in 1950, built around a 1924 residence designed by architect Adolf Loos as Landhaus Spanner. The family acquired the property from Reichsgräfin Thurn und Valsassina in the early 1950s. Today the estate operates as both a wine production business and a Heurigen.
