About Rock Stream Vineyards, LLC
Rock Stream Vineyards began in 2005 on the west side of Seneca Lake, where Dr. Mark Karasz, a West Point graduate and retired Army Lieutenant Colonel with a PhD in chemistry, directs the program. The house produces 18 wines alongside 7 liqueurs, a brandy, 2 Grappas, and 2 ports. Cayuga White, Himrod, Canadice, and Cabernet Franc anchor the portfolio. The cellar holds Seneca Lake's oldest licensed Grappa and Grape Brandy distillery. The tasting room sits on Route 14 and Fir Tree Point Road, open daily 10 AM to 5 PM. Flights run $13 for seven dry wines, $9 for semi or sweet selections, and $10 for three distilled spirits and a port. The work ships to 38 states.
