Rocca delle Macie

About Rocca delle Macie

Rocca delle Macie began in 1973 when Italo Zingarelli acquired Tenuta Sant'Alfonso. The family has since expanded across Toscana, operating six estates that span 500 hectares, with over 200 devoted to vineyard and 19 to olive grove. Italo later acquired Tenuta Le Macìe in Castellina in Chianti. In 1998, the Zingarelli family expanded to Maremma with Tenuta Campomaccione. Today, Italo, Sergio, Andrea, and Giulia Zingarelli lead the work. Sangiovese and Chianti Classico are produced. Tenuta Fizzano houses the company's mill, a Relais, and restaurant. The tasting room welcomes visitors and dogs, with food available.
