Riffelhof Vineyards

About

Riffelhof Vineyards began in 1999 with wild elderberries, then planted its first wine grape vineyard in 2006 with Zinfandel. Located in the Squaw Valley-Miramonte AVA, it became the first bonded winery in the central Sierra Nevada foothills region. The program now produces approximately 1200 bottles per year across eight varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Teroldego, Cabernet Franc, Mourvedre, and Pinot Noir. The Zinfandel has won back-to-back medals at the San Joaquin Valley Winegrower Association. Teroldego earned two Silver Medals, while Pinot Noir took Bronze. A tasting room and vineyard tours are available.
