About

Martin Riemel established the winery in Retz in 1997, the same year organic management began across the vineyards. Biodynamic certification arrived in 2010. The program centers on Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, and Zweigelt, with recent releases including the 2022 Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, and the 2015 Zweigelt and Zweigelt Barrique. The cellar produces grappas from Riesling and Veltliner, plus Marillenbrand, Rotweinlikör, Biofrizzi, and Traubenkasper. A 2018 Natural Wine is also produced.
