About Bergmann
Bergmann sits at the foot of the Retzer Windmill in Retz, Austria, a winery founded in 1960 in the Weinviertel. The Vinothek occupies the windmill's foundation, where tastings gather groups of six or more. The program spans Grüner Veltliner, Sylvaner, Riesling, Zweigelt, and Blaufränkisch, with notable releases including die Müllerin, Rote Mühle, Weinviertel DAC Grüner Veltliner Classic, Sylvaner Altenberg, Riesling Kalvarienberg, and Gemischter Satz. Event spaces hold up to 90 in the Panoramaraum, 25 in the Stüberl, or 100 in the garden. The kitchen serves traditional cold cuisine following Weinviertel Heuriger tradition with local recipes.
