Christian Klingler and Johannes Trapl established PUR Weinhandels in 2012, building their program around red wines from Spitzerberg in Carnuntum. The portfolio spans PUR SILVER ROT, PUR GOLD ROT, and PUR PLATIN ROT alongside white wines including PUR Silver Weiss, PUR Gold Weiss, PUR Platin Weiss, and PUR Platin Riesling. Trapl, born in Stixneusiedl in 1978, trained at Klosterneuburg before an internship in California. Klingler, born in Innsbruck in 1968, expanded the work in 2014 with five hectares in Wachau.
