Maranda began in the 1970s as a secondary venture under Karl Maranda Sr., then evolved into a dedicated wine operation under Karl and Robert Maranda. The winery is located in Sarasdorf, in Carnuntum, and produces Gelber Muskateller, Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Roter Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The house operates a Heurigen, a traditional wine tavern combining tradition with modern offerings. Vineyard tours and a tasting room are available. Food is served.
