About Potter's Craft
Potter's Craft sits on the Monticello Wine Trail in Free Union, Virginia, founded in 2006. The portfolio spans twelve varietals, from Pinot Gris and Chardonnay to Norton and Tannat, alongside a brewery and handcrafted chocolates. The 2023 Grand Parker Reserve is 100% Petit Verdot aged eighteen months in rye whiskey barrels from Pinhook Bourbon distillery in Midway, Kentucky. The 2021 Estratto takes a Ripasso approach, soaking 100% Chambourcin in Cabernet Franc pomace before eighteen months in barrel. The 2024 Meglio del Sesso is a dessert wine made with ground dark chocolate at 17.5% alcohol. The tasting room opens to outdoor seating, food, and weekend live music from local artists. A bed and breakfast rounds out the experience.
