Pommery

About

Pommery was founded in 1878 in Reims. The house pioneered champagne brut in 1874. The domain spans 50 hectares and descends into 18 kilometers of cellars carved from 60 Gallo-Roman chalk pits, now inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage. The portfolio includes Pommery Brut, Pommery Brut Royal, Pommery Apanage Brut, Pommery Grand Cru Royal Vintage, Cuvée Louise Vintage, and Demoiselle Tête de Cuvée. Villa Demoiselle, an Art Nouveau masterpiece, was restored and reopened in 2008. Since 2002, Experience Pommery has hosted contemporary art exhibitions within the cellars. Tastings are €55 per person.
