This family-owned Hawke's Bay vineyard in Esk Valley crafts boutique single-vineyard wines from Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Viognier, all thriving in the maritime climate and deep alluvial soils shaped by the Esk River. Winemaker Philip Barber and expert Anthony Mackenzie work together to coax out full-flavored, true-to-variety wines from vines with serious roots, literally and figuratively.
