Pence Ranch sits in the Santa Rita Hills, where Brittney Rogers and consulting winemaker Drake Whitcraft lead the program. Fruit arrives at night, hand harvested into small baskets. The cellar runs on wild yeasts, with fermentation in porous concrete and oak puncheons, never stainless steel. Sulphur appears only after fermentation closes. The portfolio spans Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wine, with block-designate expressions released under the Penny label. Rogers brings experience from Sashi Moorman's Provignage team to the work here.
