About Imagine Wine

Imagine Wine was founded in 2004 by LynDee and Ross Jay Rankin. Ross Jay Rankin studied winemaking at Hancock College and entered the wine industry in the late 1990s. The portfolio includes Syrah, Barbera, Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel. The signature wine is Paradise Mountain Syrah, sourced exclusively from a unique vineyard in Santa Barbara County's eastern hills and aged six years in barrel. Wines are hand made in fermentation bins with hand punch-downs three times per day. Oak comes from French, Hungarian, and American sources, with a minimum of 50% new oak. Tastings by appointment only, 12 to 5pm, closed Tuesdays through Thursdays.
