Payer began after World War II in St.Margarethen i.Burgenland, in the Leithaberg region. Ten hectares of mineral and stone-rich soil support the program. Now in its third generation, the house runs as a family operation. Johann Payer works as cellar master. Noemi Payer oversees grape quality and guest accommodations. Rebecca and Vanessa Payer manage customer inquiries and wine distribution. The estate includes a guest house with apartments.
