About Panther Rock

Panther Rock began with thirteen cousins, fourth generation of the Franzia family, in Ceres. Carol Franzia, who studied fermentation science at UC Davis and trained at Roseworthy Agricultural College in South Australia, leads the winemaking program. The debut release, 2021 Napa Valley Meritage, blends 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. The wine aged for twelve months in 100% French oak with 50% new barrels, followed by six months in neutral barrels.
