Nicolas Reau established his domaine in 2002 on eight hectares in the southern extremity of Anjou, where the work centers on Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc grown under organic agriculture. The program produces natural wines, fermenting with natural yeasts and adding no sulfur to the reds, minimal sulfur to the whites. Among the vineyard sits Les Treilles, a two-hectare parcel that traces back to the medieval period.
