Mudgee Wines Estate is a historic winery with old bush vines dating back to 1856, founded by Andreas Kurtz who migrated from Bavaria. The winery produces fine wines from locally grown Mudgee fruit including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and rare varieties like Durif. With production exceeding one million litres, their wines are sold locally, nationally, and internationally.
