About Morton Family Cellars
Morton Family Cellars sits in Apple Hill's Sierra Foothills at 3,200 feet, where estate-grown grapes ferment with wild yeast and minimal sulfites. The tasting room is a restored 1960s speakeasy. The program spans Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Barbera, and Cabernet Franc, alongside dessert wines and wine slushies. Fridays bring karaoke from 6 to 9 PM, no cover, 21 and up. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the patio. The wine club delivers three bottles quarterly, 20% off regular prices, and free tastings for up to four people. Groups of seven or more should reserve ahead. The house hosts weddings and private events.
