About Moonrise LLC
Tom and Karen Zabadal opened Moonrise as the first winery and tasting room in Bainbridge township, Watervliet. The program spans thirteen wines across two lines. Lake Michigan Shores and Estate offerings include Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on a south-facing terrace. Merlot is matured in French oak. Heritage, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, is part of the portfolio. A Sangria made from Feelin Grü-V with mango passion fruit completes the cellar.
