About Moffett Vineyards
Moffett Vineyards began in St. Helena in 1976 on 28 acres at 1895 Cabernet Lane, where the family became the first to revive winemaking after Prohibition. The original property held a farmhouse from 1868 and a Ghost Winery dating to 1883. Trent Moffett now leads the program, crafting Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah across seven appellations. The Reserve Cabernet, Rutherford Cabernet (first bottled in 1984), Syrah, and Willow's Blend, named for his daughter, anchor the portfolio. In 2014, the work moved to Oregon. The tasting room there sits 465 feet above the valley floor, with views stretching over 90 miles south through the valley.
