Mila Family Vineyards

About

Mila Family Vineyards sits on 54 acres in Alexander Valley, nine miles northeast of Healdsburg. Seven years of planning preceded the first vine planting. Five years of cover crops prepared the soil. Biodynamic consultant Alan York guided rootstock and cultivar selection. The winery practices biodynamic agriculture and focuses on Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Dr. Susan Hubbard of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory conducted a groundbreaking study of the vineyard. The wine club operates without membership fees or restrictions, offering complimentary tastings and two annual pre-release shipments in Spring and Fall.
