About McHenry Vineyard

McHenry Vineyard began in 1970, when the first vines went into sandy slopes at 1,800 feet above the Pacific, surrounded by redwood forest in Bonny Doon. The winery itself was founded in 1980. Now in its third generation as a family operation, the program makes Pinot Noir in the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA. The original facility was lost in the CZU Lightning Complex Fire in August 2020. Ryan Beauregard and John Benedetti collaborated on the 2021 and 2022 vintages. The 2021 Estate Grown Swan Clone earned 93 points from Wine Enthusiast.
