About Marsella Family Vineyards
Marsella Family Vineyards sits on 12+ acres along the Stanislaus River in Oakdale, anchored by a 140-year-old barn. Farmer John shapes the program, working with Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Petit Sirah, Malbec, Chardonnay, and Mission Grapes. Those Mission vines carry four centuries of lineage, descendants of stock brought by Spanish Missionaries. Grapes are harvested by hand, then crushed and bottled on-site. The house produces Angelica among its portfolio. Vineyard tours are offered.
Tasting Experiences
Wine Tastings
Tastings by appointment include four or more wines, typically two table wines and two dessert wines. $20 per person tasting fee is credited to purchases of two or more bottles.
Vineyard & Farm Tours
Organized wandering with Farmer John explaining the history of the property, the area, and the Mission grapes. Visitors may see llamas, goats, horses, and friendly dogs on the property.
Weddings
Casual, rustic wedding venue with flexible space and accommodations for do-it-yourself weddings.
Special Events
Flexible space for large events with plenty of parking, kitchen facilities, three bathrooms, outdoor space, and a 140-year-old barn as centerpiece.
