Manavi Wines is a small estate winery in the village of Manavi, Sagarejo municipality, founded in 2021 by Giorgi Aivazyan, who came to wine from the coffee trade and also runs the Givino wine bar in Tbilisi. He farms about 7 hectares of his own vineyards at roughly 750 metres in the Manavi PDO, buys no fruit, and ferments everything spontaneously in buried qvevri with skin contact of one to six months. The range is built on Kakhuri Mtsvane with Rkatsiteli and Saperavi alongside, including a skin-contact Rkatsiteli and a Mtsvane pet nat. Visits are by arrangement for guided tastings and vineyard tours.
