About Loubud Wines
Laura Hughes founded Loubud in 2015, bringing a UC Davis degree in Viticulture & Enology and winemaking experience across Burgundy, Tasmania, Napa, and South Africa. The program focuses on small-production, traditional method sparkling wines sourced from vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills. Paul joined in 2023. The tasting room sits in downtown Santa Barbara at 20 El Paseo, open Thursday through Sunday, 12 to 6pm. The wine club releases twice yearly, spring and fall, across three tiers.
