Lion Ranch Vineyards and Winery

About

Kim and Todd established Lion Ranch in San Martin in 2009, planting their 5-acre estate vineyard two years later in the Santa Clara Valley AVA. The program centers on Rhône and Provence varietals. Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsualt, Counoise, Terret Noir, Muscardin, and Vaccarèse anchor the red portfolio, while Viognier, Picpoul Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, and Roussanne shape the whites. The work is built on regenerative farming. The tasting room opens Friday through Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm. Reservations encouraged, walk-ins welcome. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor spaces.
