Their son Kirk joined them on their journey from Wisconsin in the USA, studying wine making in Adelaide where he met and fell in love with fellow student Vanesa - who was all the way from Peru! Now married with a growing family, Kirk and Vanesa are fusing their Mid West and Latin American backgrounds with their expertise in wine making. When Jim Lambert’s business travels brought him to Australia in the 80’s, he realised his love of wine and beautiful places could mark out a new future for him and his wife Pam. This dream was realised when they discovered the vineyards in the Barossa hills that would become Lambert Estate.
