About La Sirena
La Sirena Napa Valley, established in 1994 by winemaker Heidi Barrett, is located near Calistoga. Heidi, who grew up in the wine industry under the mentorship of her father, Dr. Richard Peterson, initially produced Sangiovese before expanding her offerings. She has garnered a reputation for her winemaking skills, consulting for various clients while producing her own wines. The winery's vineyard is situated at the base of Old Lawley Toll Road, with recent vintages sourced entirely from this site.
La Sirena is known for its unique wine styles, including the 2022 Moscato Azul, which features floral and tropical notes, and the Rosato, characterized by its creamy texture and vibrant acidity. The winery also produces a blend called The Pirate, which showcases a variety of grapes and features playful packaging. Tasting experiences are available by appointment at their cave winery south of Calistoga, with a total production of around 2,500 cases annually. La Sirena emphasizes creativity in both winemaking and branding, reflecting Heidi's artistic background.
