About La Costa di Ome
La Costa di Ome sits on a hillside between the Ome valley and Valzina, near the southern edge of Lake Iseo. Founded in 2001, the vineyard is almost entirely terraced. The cellar is completely underground and excavated from rock. Bigio Papi, Gianpaolo, Giovanna, Elena, and Paolo lead the work as organic farmers, tending vines and olives both. The portfolio spans Curtefranca Bianco and Rosso DOC, with the Rosso also aged in barrique, alongside Spumante Franciacorta DOCG Brut and the Satén Millesimato Giovanna from 2011.
