About Kynsi Wines, Inc.
Don and Gwen Othman have been immersed in Central Coast wine for over 40 years. Their tasting room occupies a historic dairy on a ranch in the Edna Valley, open daily 11 to 5. Reservations encouraged on peak weekends and event days. The program spans Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Rosé, Chardonnay, Grenache, Syrah, and proprietary red blends, sourced from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. Estate Pinot Noir comes from Stone Corral Vineyard in Edna Valley. Red grapes receive a 3 to 4 day cold soak before fermentation averaging 10 days, then age 16 to 18 months in a blend of new and neutral French Oak. Chardonnay is barrel fermented in new, medium toast French Oak and aged sur lie for seven months. Don created The Bulldog Pup, a gas pressure racking wand, in 1986.
