About Krottendorfer Leopold
Leopold and Margit Krottendorfer work vineyards across Röschitz in the Weinviertel, hand-harvesting at perfect ripeness from sites including Mühlberg, Reipersberg, Galgenberg, and Königsberg. The program centers on Grüner Veltliner, produced in seven variants. Riesling, Frühroter Veltliner, Weißburgunder, Gelber Muskateller, and Sauvignon Blanc round the white portfolio, aged in steel tanks. Zweigelt, Blauburger, and a Cuvée Barrique form the red work, with Zweigelt Rosé completing the range. The house won double Lower Austrian state championship in Grüner Veltliner classic and robust categories, with Weinviertel DAC Ried Himmelreich and Ried Reipersberg taking state championship. Guest rooms are available.
